Happy 1st Birthday!!!!

I'm One Today!

My big day finally arrived today! I turned one year old today!!!! And to make sure that I did not miss it, I woke up especially early this morning and had Mommy & Daddy sing Happy Birthday to me! It was awesome! Just like my own personal rock concert! Anyway, I had the best day ever today...Let me tell you all about it! First, I got to go for a big walk in my stroller... then I went to the playground and went head first down the slide...swoosh! Tons of fun there, but it totally wore me out...so after that I took a really BIG nap, for like two and a half hours...Then after I woke up, I had a delicious lunch of turkey meatballs and brocolli and apple sauce for desert! Yum!!! Nammy then gave me one of my presents - a very cool activity box that I totally LOVE playing with...Then after that, Mommy and Daddy gave me two more big presents...A super cool bike trailer and an awesome helmet! I helped them set it up and then we went for a ride to the beach and around the island...I just sat back and chilled out while Daddy did all the work wheeling me around! Soooooo cool! After we got back home, I took a lovely bath to freshen up for dinner. After we finished eating, Mommy pulled out a big tray of special vanilla cup cakes for me...they were decorated with white frosting and featured Lightning McQuenn - from my favorite movie Cars! However, she made me where a birthday hat which I did not really care for...and I let her know it! Let me tell you though, I found out that I LOVE cupcakes! I can eat them up all by myself...and licking the frosting from my fingers rocks! Well, after that, my evening was over and I headed to bed with my milky-baba and called it a night! Mommy & Daddy, thanks for the best 1st Birthday ever! I love you a bunch!!!

Yep folks, I did it! I am now officially one whole year old! Can you believe it! I know I keep reminising about being in Mommy's belly, but it seems like just yesterday I was in there! Now, a year later I can say that I am so much more experienced! I know how to do so many things, like play with my toys, blow kisses, crawl around, say Mamma and Daddee, clap, play pickaboo, feed myself, and a bunch of other cool stuff! Thank goodness Mommy helped me keep this diary so that I can remember all of my milestones! Its really special to me! Anyway, I thought you'd like this photo retrospective...from day one to day 365! Enjoy!!!!

The Swan Whisperer

Greetings again my friends and family! I am having the best time on my vacation at the shore! I've been spending lots of time with Mommy and Daddy and loving every minute of it! Everyday they take me out for some exciting new adventure! Like yesterday, we went on a big shopping trip to Toys R Us...and then the grocery store where I got to ride in a special carriage! And for dinner, we went to the Yacht Club for a big picnic! I got to try some new foods (love the baked beans!) and check out the sail boats. Daddy told me that when I am bigger, he's going to teach me to sail....and I can even go to sailing camp like my cousin Willow. I can't wait! As for my adventures today...we took a spin through Point Pleasant and did some window shopping. We also stopped by to visit Aunt Emily at her pottery store (Git Fired Up is the the best store ever!)...and even snacked on some delicious pizza too! Then in the afternoon, we went to the beach and had fun in the water and at the playground...then came the poopy. Yep, I did a big poopy in my swimmy diaper and my fun was cut short because Mommy forgot to pack some extra ones! Here I am with Daddy and Willow!

Oh well! But Bee-Bop saved the day...it turns out that he's got some special powers that I did not know about! He can talk to our neighborhood swans!!! Yes, can you believe it? The swans love him and eat right out of his hand! If you don't believe me, just check out the video below! It's pretty cool!!! Peace!

So yesterday I got to go to Caroline's big birthday party! It was so much fun! There were like 100 kids there (well, maybe not 100, but a lot!)...and I played so much! Caroline looked especially pretty and was a great hostess. Cause she's my girlfriend, I think she gave me extra attention, so that was nice. I showed her all of my latest crawling and cruising moves, and I really think she was impressed. Speaking of impressed, her cake was super cool. It was a red, white and blue hat and it tasted DELICIOUS! Here are some pics from the party...And don't forget, only 3 days until my 1st birthday!!!!! Horray!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

Hi Everyone! Sorry for not being in touch the last few weeks...but I wanted to get back on line and let you know how I am doing! First of all, Happy 4th of July! Today was my first one ever and I had sooooooo much fun! Let me remind you that at this time last year, I was still "cooking" in Mommy's belly, and did not feel like coming out. However, if I had known about the hot dogs and fireworks, I totally would have shown up early! Anyway, we had an AWESOME time at my Aunt Emily's today. She had a pool party and BBQ and it was so dynamite! I got to play with Willow and Nikita all day....We splashed around in the pool and played on the swings and grass. I totally worked up quite an appetite, so I got to try hotdogs, pasta salad, chips, salsa and even Jello with whipped cream - YUMMY!!! I am also excited to tell you that I am on vacation this week with Mommy and Daddy. We are going to spend the whole week at the shore and have some quality family time! Plus, what's even more exciting is that I will be turning 1 on Wednesday! Can you believe it? And we're having a huge party on Saturday to celebrate! You'll have to stay tuned for all of my adventures this week!
