I'm So Excited! And I Have Giant Feet!

Hi Everyone! How are you doing? First, let me start off by saying that this heat is crazy! As you know, I am an outdoorsy kind of baby, and I like to get out...but this super hot weather is really slowing down my social activities at the playground...it's really too hot! Of course, since I am also very innovative, I've used my cuteness to have Hope take me out earlier in the day so that I can at least play in the grass and roll around. It's tons of fun! Any-who...I also want you to know that I had a terrific weekend with the entire Morrison clan at the shore...I got to play (actually torture) with my Nami's puppies, Rusty & Shelby, and watch the quack quack ducks in the lagoon! Also, after Mommy & Daddy slathered me up with SPF 6000, they totally hooked me up and took me to the Bay Beach in Lavallette. Its sooooooo nice, and appears to be especially designed for babies...it even has a playground with swings and slides! I really enjoyed the beach...and best of all, I got to splash around in the water...but I have to say it tastes kind of funny, and it's not as warm as water in my bathtub. I'll just have to get used to it! Lastly, and as you already know, today was my big 11 month birthday. I didn't score any cake though, which is a bummer. But Mommy promised me the best cake ever for my real birthday...which is now only 30 days away!!! Hooray!!!!

Hello my friends and family!!! Hope that you enjoyed your long weekend! I sure did! As usual, Mommy and Daddy took such good care of me and made sure that I had lots of fun all weekend long! We actually spent most of the weekend at the shore...and the weather was awesome! I took a few strolls on the boardwalk and even got to play in the sand for the very first time. At first I wasn't sure that I would like it....but it felt so cool in between my toes...and once I got the hang of it, I got it everywhere!!! I also got to see the ocean and all of the cool waves and surfers dudes! I think I will be a surfer dude when I get a little older. I also got to visit the playground at the Bay Beach...it was a little windy, but still lots of fun, especially when Daddy pushed me on the swings! Oh! One of my biggest treats this weekend was seeing my girlfriend, Caroline, again! We had a really nice time sharing our toys and playing in the sand...and taking a bath together! I know, it sounds soooooo scandalous, but we were just so dirty from the sand and sun block we needed to freshen up...so our Mommies save some time and water by letting us splash around together. You should see the pics...they're super cool! My other big treat was seeing my funny cousins Willow and Nikita at Aunt Emily's Pottery Store. There were so many things that I wanted to see and play with, but they wouldn't let me get in too much trouble. Especially Willow, she moves really quick and catches me every time! Since I had so much fun, I've got to run and catch up on my sleep...I am wiped out! Peace Out Peeps! ZAM!!!!

Hi Everyone! Hope that this cold, rainy weather isn't getting you down! It's definitely slowed down my social schedule, as I really don't like getting wet, unless of course it involves my bathtub! Oh well! As for my weekly updates...I recently decided that I like getting up at 6am better my old 7am time frame. That extra hour really lets me get an early start on playing with my toys, crawling around my room and my usual baby mischief. I guess that decision didn't take too well with Mommy and Daddy, as they were hoping that I'd let them sleep in a bit extra, especially on the weekend. Boy are they wrong! As for other fun stuff, I spent a bunch of time at the park on Saturday and practiced walking with my push toy. It was so much fun...especially when all the cute girls kept stopping by to tell me how cute I am...! I also got to roll around on the grass and go exploring. I even tried to join in on a volley ball match - but Daddy snatched me before I could get the ball...oh well, maybe next time. Lastly, I have also decided that I really, really, really like people food, especially the German pancakes Daddy makes me on Sundays. They are soooooo tasty and I eat them all up! I also really like eating chicken, turkey, veal sausages, pasta, bananas and cheese! Especially cheese!!!

05.09.08: I'm 10 Months Old Today - and I'm on the Move!

Many apologies for not writing to you all sooner...but I have been a very busy boy! First of all, I just celebrated another month-i-versary last week - can you believe that I am a whole 10 months old? WOW! It surprises me too! It feels like just yesterday that I was floating around in Mommy's belly and having fun kicking her in the ribs! Anyway, my doctor said that since I am so big and strong, I can start having real milk now...and I love it! It's much tastier than my old formula and I really enjoy it! I also LOVE yogurt - it's my new favorite breakfast. And since I've done so well, Daddy told me that my next big dairy treat will be....ICE CREAM! Yum - I can't wait! I also had a great weekend...because I got to help Mommy celebrate her first Mother's Day! We had a BBQ and all of my cool Grandparents came over and spoiled me! As for this week, since the weather is much nicer than last week, I've resumed my normal social calendar of My Gym and the Library...And I have a funny story about my library trip today. I kind of found it a little dull and way too quiet while the librarian was reading, so I decided to shake things up with my big-boy roar noises. I started roaring and distracted all the babies and the librarian! And since it was so much fun, I kept doing it! Poor Hope had to take me to the hall so that I could get it out of my system. I am going to be such a trouble maker!

Happy Birthday Nammy & Uncle Mike

Hi Everyone!
Sorry that I have not written in a little while...but I was a little sicky last week. Turns out I had a little stomach bug and did not feel so good. But, with lots of love and some not so tasty pedia-lite, I am all better now, and ready to resume my busy social schedule! Hooray!

I did have a fun weekend though! I got to go to swim class and splash around, take some nice walks, hit the playground, the mall and the shore! Yep, I said they shore! In fact, yesterday was my Nammy's birthday, so we had a lovely brunch at The Pilot House in Brick. I even got to try French Toast, which is my new favorite breakfast treat! Anyway, brunch was fun because the whole Morrison clan was there! So, I am giving a Happy B-Day shoutout to Nammy Morrison, and saying hi to Bee-Bop, Aunt Emily, Uncle Chris, and my super cool cousins Willow and Nikita!


I also want to take this opportunity to wish my Uncle Mike a Happy 27th Birthday! He's really funny and cool...but I remember when I was really tiny how scared he was to hold me...I think he's over it now...especially since he told Mommy that he wanted to borrow me to help him pick up some girls!
I don't think Mommy liked that idea, but hey, I am totally in!
