Happy Halloween

Hi Everyone! Sorry it's been a little while since we last wrote to you, but Maddy and I have been quite busy. Although summer is definitely over, we've been keeping busy with learning colors, numbers and letters, tons of visits to the park, playground and all around town. We've even been lucky enough to go on some field trips - like riding a steam train in Philipsburg and even special visits to McDonalds for cheeseburgers and fries (for me, not Maddy of course).

This past weekend was especially great....Halloween of course!!! I got to dress up as Superman, and Maddy was a little Flower. We looked super cute. Mommy even got me ready for the big day in advance by teaching me all the appropriate lingo, like the words spooky, ghost, trick or treat, boo and happy halloween. I already knew how to say chocolate and candy...But now my vocabulary is just busting out - and it's not all train talk anymore! I was also really happy to show my little sister the ropes - and how to knock on doors and get tasty treats! She pretty much just sat in her stroller the whole time, but I am sure that she was taking notes for next year! I hope that you enjoy our fun pics - including my first Halloween Parade at school! What a blast. Now it's onto to Turkey and learning about Thanksgiving. See ya later!

I'm 4-Months Old

Hello Everyone! Well time really does fly! Can you believe that I am 4-months old today? It seems like just yesterday I was 3-months old. I am totally growing fast! At my checkup, I measured 26.5 inches long and weighed 14.5 pounds. That puts me in the 97th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight! This means that I can start wearing some more fashionable outfits...and not just silly onsies. I am soooooo mature! Anyway, everything is going really well for me. I am a really good eater, and I do all my poopies on time...I also really love watching my big brother playing with his trains and can wait to play with him. I just need to figure out how to crawl and then I'll be all set! I am also really looking forward to the fall, and going on my first pumpkin picking trip with Zack. It's going to be a blast! Halloween is going to be super fun too...but I can't tell you what I am going to be. I really don't even know, cause Mommy is keeping it a secret. You'll just have to check back soon and see me in my costume in a few weeks!

I Met Thomas Today!!!

Hi Everyone! You're not going to believe this, but Mommy & Daddy made my dreams come true this weekend...they took me to meet my hero, Thomas the Tank Engine! Yes, it's true!! We left Maddy with Grandma and Grandpa, and took a very long road trip from NJ to Pennsylvania to meet Thomas at the Strasburg Railroad. It was amazing!

Thomas is just as nice and useful in person as he is on TV. He was right on time, and I was able to get a window seat and ride in his coaches. The train ride was really sweet - we saw lots of farms, animals and windmills. I even got to visit the Strasburg Railroad Museum and climb onto real locomotives! It was absolutely the most perfect day ever...and probably the best day of my life! And Daddy was especially nice too...he bought me some special trains and tracks - but he told me that I would only get to play with them when I am bigger, cause I kind of break stuff sometimes. I also go a new Molly, some books and stickers. I'll never forget it...Thanks Mommy & Daddy! I love you guys:-)

My First Day of School!

Today was my very first week of preschool! At first, I totally thought it was tons of fun. Who wouldn't - there are toys, games, and lots of children to play with. However, what I was not prepared for is the fact that Mommy actually leaves me there - and doesn't hang out with me. That made me a bit sad, so I am still getting use to that. I mean everyone is really nice, but its not like being at home in my playroom with my trains!

Overall, my class is pretty nice though. I have three teachers and there are about 12 other kids there too. One of my favorite activities is snack time, where we all sit around the table and chat. I also really like lunch time cause they serve fries! That's really cool and totally beats carrots! We also do other stuff like artwork, playing and circle time...

I guess I'll just have to be a bit more open-minded and give this school thing a try. Afterall, I will eventually be in school for a really long time!
