NYC & Dinosaurs!

Today we had the best day ever! We went to the Natural History Museum in NYC to see the AWESOME dinosaur exhibit! It was so amazing! There were dinosaurs everywhere! Even a giant brontoosaurus in the middle of the museum! There were so many kinds of fossils too...we saw Stegosaurus, T-Rex, triceratops, corythesaurs, edmontosaurus and even an anklyosaurus! It was really, really amazing. We even go to dig for real fossils in one of the exhibits! Plus, after we were done, Daddy bought us delicious ice cream and we had a picnic lunch in Central Park! What a fantastic day! We can't wait to go back!

First Beach Weekend of 2011!

Yes, for real! We went to the beach this weekend! Horray, horray, horray! We only went for a day - but it was awesome! We spend all day Saturday having fun...Mommy and Daddy took us over to the playground on the beach in the morning and we just ran around like maniacs! Then, we had lunch back at Nammy's house on the new back deck - lovely! Then, we spent the rest of the afternoon running around on the beach...so much fun. Daddy, Zack and I even took a walk down the beach while mommy caught up on some reading (gossip magazines of all things)...we came back for some snacks and when for another walk...and what did we find - a real live blue crab! It was ready to do battle! Daddy totally messed with it and made it super mad...it was trying to jump out o fthe water to attack him. It kind of tried to chase us a little, so Daddy ended up burrying it under a ton of sand! Take that mean blue crab! After that drama, we just looked for treasure and pirate booty - but just got some Jersey shells! The real treasure was heading to Summer Dreams for ICE CREAM before calling it a night! LOL!

Memorial Day Weekend 2011!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend All!

Hope you had a great one! We had the best weekend ever!! Although we did not go to the beach this time, we had tons of fun right here in Warren! First of all, Mommy and Daddy setup our backyard like it was a cool vacation getaway - we had our new kid pool, our slip and slide, our tennis set, a bubble machine, music and great weather to pass our time. We even went to Round Valley one day and had a great hike around the lake and settled down for a cool picnic overlooking the lake. Plus, we splashed around and play games (and bubbles) before heading out. Of course, we were pooped by the end - so we got in a great nap that day too. Long weekends rule!

Maddy's 2nd Birthday! What a Big Girl!

What a great day! I am finally a whole two years old today! And as I keep telling momy - I'm a big girl now! Man how time flies! Just last year, I was figuring out how to walk and still drinking from a bottle. Now, I can do so many things by myself - i can feed myself, undress myself for bath time, help Mommy with cleaning around the house, blow bubbles, brush my teeth, play with Mommy's iPad and talk talk talk too. I especially love telling mom "NO" - its my favorite. I actually practice in my crib at night - so i can get jus the right "no" for different situations!

I am such a lucky girl too...I got lots of great presents from Mommy and Daddy and also had a fantastic party with all of my good friends and family. It was great - especially my birthday cake. It was super duper delicious! I kept going back for more!

It's Spring...Finally!
