I'm A Big Brother!

Yes, the big day finally arrived on May 22! I became the proud big brother to my little tiny baby sister, Madeline Sophia! And I have to give my Mommy some "props" too...can you believe that Mommy had just gotten home from her last day at work and had to turn around and head to the hospital an hour later...And Daddy was lucky too...he had just barely made it home from a business trip...just in time to zip over to the hospital! Talk about a close call!

Anyway, little sister Maddy (that's just one of her nick names)...weighed 8.5 pounds and was 21.75 inches long. I do have to admit, she's a real cutie, but I am playing it cool and not letting Mommy or Daddy think I like her too much just yet:-) That means no posing for cute pictures as you can see...
It's been fun having her around, except when she cries...which is a lot. But she's cute and tiny and can't talk yet, so I understand. Obviously, cause I've been there too...but I am more mature now!

So this is also a good time to let you all know that I have decided to let Maddy (or Mad Maddy as I like to call her), share my blog. She is afterall my little sister, so it's only right to share (except for my Thomas trains - I don't share those with anyone!) So, that means that some updates will come from me, and some will come from her - with my expert help of course! That might sound a little confusing, but I think it will make for some fun reading in the future!

Adventures with Thomas

Hi Everyone!
Hope you had a great weekend! The weather was certainly beautiful for it!!! I had a blast running around my yard and at the playground...let's hope that the weather holds up this week too!!!!

Anyway, I wanted to share with you about my wonderful adventure with Thomas the Tank Engine today! You see, Mommy and Daddy took me to the City today to see a special show...Thomas & Friends Live! It was such a wonderful treat! I could not believe my little eyes...I got to see Thomas, James, Percy, Gordon and Sir Topham Hatt today!!! It was soooooooo amazing. Thomas is so nice and is a very "useful engine" - he was able to bring the Circus to Island of Sodor! It was the best show ever and I love Mommy and Daddy so much for taking me! I just had such a wonderful day overall! I was able to see so and do many new things today...like wear my new light up Thomas Sneakers and matching socks, have lunch like a big boy at a cafe, see what the inside of a taxi cab looks like, and even visit where Daddy works in Times Square...and to my surprise and delight, I also got to see Elmo & Cookie Monster standing outside of his office! They were so nice and friendly too!

So I have to run now because I am super sleepy and need some rest after this exciting day! I hope you enjoy my slide show and videos!

Happy Spring!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry again for not writing or sharing pictures sooner! You see, the day after Mommy last updated the blog, I kind of took her camera and put it in the toilet. I'm really not sure why I did it, but it seemed like a lot of fun at that time...Unfortunately, Mommy and especially Daddy did not think that was too funny...so I learned my lesson! I guess I can only throw other stuff, like my trains, in the toilet now :-)

Anyway, the last month has been quite exciting! Now that the weather has been a bit nicer, I've been getting to know my new neighborhood a bit more...and have made a few new friends! Plus, my social schedule is quite busy...I just started two new classes at the Y (Tumbling and Swimming), plus I go to the library for story time too! Its all loads of fun and I am learning a bunch. I also started saying a few more words now too...like banana, where, bib, flower, tree and even Dora and Boots (one of my new favorite shows!)...I can also say baby really well too...cause my new baby sister is going to be arriving next month! I can wait to meet! She's going to be new best friend.

I also had a bunch of fun yesterday at the Easter Egg Hunt at the playground near my house. There were tons of other kids and so many eggs and treats....and a giant Easter Bunny! I was so brave and just ran right up to him and said hi...but I was too cool to take a photo with him. I had other stuff to do steal eggs from other kids and eat cookies.

Anyway...got to run now...but look for more posts in the coming weeks now that Mommy has a new camera to play with!

I Love Virgin Mobile!

Hi Everyone!

Just doing a quick shout out for Mommy today! Please see the link to the right and check out some awesome stuff from Virgin Mobile. Just in case you did not know, Virgin Mobile is my FAVORITE cell phone company. I think I'd make an excellent spokesperson, but Mommy says I am a little too young, plus, I really can't talk yet :-)

My How Time Flies!

Hi Everyone! I hope that you're all doing great! I certainly am!!! I've spent the last few weeks getting to know my new house and my new neighborhood. I was especially lucky this week that the weather is sooooooo nice! I've been running around my yard and getting dirty! I love playing in the mud and splashing around in the puddles from all the melted snow...


I've also spent a lot of time playing with my Thomas trains...as you might remember, I got a big Thomas Train for Christmas...and my cousin Willow gave me like a million trains...so I've kind of become addicted to Thomas! You should see my play room - i've got a train set, tons of DVDs, books and all sorts of Thomas stuff! You should come over and play some time!

I've also been practicing saying new words like train, baby, cup, fish, carrot and a few others...but I am really taking my time. Basically, I just like to point at stuff and ask Mommy "dis?" then she tells me what "dis" is. Pretty soon I am going to surprise her and Daddy with a full sentence! For now, I'll take my time!!!

I am also getting ready for my little sister! She should be arriving before Memorial Day, so hopefully she won't mess up my plans for the beach! You know how I love the beach! Mommy even bought me new board shorts and cool shirts so that I look super stylish while I catch some waves...and this year, Daddy is going to show me how to body surf! I can't wait!
